Lushmas

I recently popped into my local Lush store, as Lush have brought out their Halloween, Bonfire night and Christmas bath/shower products :)

I picked up 5 bath bombs, but my boyfriend accidentally broke one of them so he very kindly went and bought me another on his lunch break :P

Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year, especially as its more suitable for baths.

There's nothing better than making yourself a hot drink then just getting in a nice hot bubble bath then getting in bed to watch your favourite show on Netflix.

In total i spent about £15.00 in Lush, which may seem bad for just a few bath bombs but if you are a bath lover like myself, you'll understand it's worth every penny.

Sparkly Pumpkin - £3.50
This bath bomb has a gorgeous citrus smell to it and leaves your body like a glitter ball.
You can break this up about 8 times I'd say or you can just use the whole lot and crumble it into your hands and under the tap.

Butterbear - £1.95
This cute little bear leaves your skin feeling baby soft and smells of cocoa butter and vanilla.
Unfortunately this is the bath bomb my boyfriend accidentally broke, hence the broken head.

Candy Mountain - £2.75
If you love the smell of the Snow fairy shower gel then you will love this,
it smells exactly the same as snow fairy and leaves your bath pink with a gorgeous sweet smell, just like being in a candy shop.

Golden Wonder - £3.75
This bath bomb is my favourite by far, last year i really wanted it but I'm sure it was a lot pricier.
I'm so happy i picked it up this year, the best thing of all is there's a little bell inside! You can chop this into pieces and use it at separate bath times or just chuck the whole thing in, which will result in tons of fizzing and colours (my favourite).

Luxury Lush Pud - £3.50
This colourful bath bomb smells absolutely delicious, if you love Christmassy scents, this is the one for you!
I especially love the cute little holly decoration on the top.

         Snow Angel - £3.95
This bath melt leaves your bath with golden glitter it also has cocoa butter in so it will leave your skin feeling lovely.

Step by step smokey eye tutorial

I thought I would create this step by step picture tutorial to show how I create my black smokey eye.

To start I primed my eyes using macs ‘painterly’ pro long wear paint pot.

Then using a fluffy brush I took MAC ‘peaches’ blush through my crease as a transition colour, I then blended that using a blending brush.

Next, I took NYX’s blush in ‘peach’ on a smaller fluffy brush through the crease also, I then blended both colours together using the same brush, these colours blend beautifully together.

I then took the shade ‘penny’ from the MUA ever after matte palette which is a medium brown colour through my crease also, with the same small fluffy brush.

Next I took the shade ‘truffle’ which is a deeper brown from the same palette and applied that into the outer part of my crease. Then blended that together.

With a flat brush I then applied MAC fluid line in ‘blacktrack’ all over my lid, then went back in with the ‘truffle’ shade to blend out the black.

Next I applied the maybelline 24 gel liner in black and create a fine line close to my lash line using the sigma e10 small liner brush.

I then applied the red cherry lashes in the style ‘118’ with a pair of slanted tweezers.

To highlight my brow bone I used the shade ‘bootycall’ from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette.
And that’s the eyes complete.

To prime my face I used the ‘loreal magique blur cream’, for foundation I mixed the bourjois healthy mix in ’52' and the MAC studio fix in ‘NW20’.

I then highlighted under my eyes, cupid bow, chin and forehead using the ‘collection, lasting perfection concealer’ in the shade ’01 fair’.

To contour and bronze up my face I applied Benefit’s 'hoola' bronzer.

For blusher I applied MAC’s blush in ‘well dressed’ onto the apples of my cheeks and slightly blended that into my contour.

For the lips I applied MAC’s ‘snob’ lipstick and dabbed that into my lips with my finger to work the product in.

Gerard Cosmetics Haul

A few weeks back I made an order with gerardcosmetics.com, I've been wanting to order from them since late last year as I had heard great things about them, but just never got round to it.

My order took about a week and a half to come and unfortunately I had to pay custom charges, but oh well it was worth it!

I ordered the 'Red Carpet Survival Kit'
which includes: whitening lightning tooth whitening pen, bb+ plus illumination facial creme, colour your smile lipgloss in the shade 'rose hill' created by the amazing youtuber/makeup artist that is Jaclyn Hill and last but not least the whitening lightning 'brow bar to go'.

The 'brow bar to go' consists of;
A wax, to prep the brows for powder.
A cool tone and warm tone brown eyebrow powder to fill in the brows.
A small angled brush and also a mirror built in.
I'm absolutely in love with this brow palette, it is definitely my new holy grail brow product.
Couldn't recommend it any more!

The whitening lightning super booster pen, is great for on the go tooth whitening.
I've used it a couple of times, I have sensitive teeth and I find this doesn't affect them.
It has a minty toothpaste like, taste.

The BB plus illumination facial creme is absolutely stunning, it reminds me so much of a cream version of macs soft and gentle highlighter, its a lovely gold highlight and would look so great on many different skin tones.

Lastly the Gerard cosmetics colour your smile ligloss in the shade 'rose hill'
I've been wanting this gloss for so long, especially as the beautiful Jaclyn Hill created it!
The pigmentation of these lip glosses is unreal and they smell delicious, I love that they light up also and come with a mirror on the side.

Will definitely be purchasing more products from them in the future.
